Job summary

The RN will coordinate with primary care providers, manage nurse visit schedules, and ensure accurate EHR documentation while adhering to safety and infection prevention protocols. Per diem schedule includes days/evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Nursing diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None.
• Preferred: 2 years of clinical experience.
• License/Certification: NJ RN license, CPR certified or seek certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care within licensure scope.
• Prioritizes care per physician orders and nursing procedures.
• Tries patient calls and schedules per clinical judgement.
• Manages Nurse Visit schedule and communicates issues promptly.
• Provides patient education on disease management and preventive care.
• Coordinates care across specialists and hospitals.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and ensures proper labeling of specimens.
• Supports infection prevention and safety practices.
