Job summary

Mercy Saint Francis is seeking a part-time Outpatient RN to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care, coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and maintain professional accountability in line with Mercy Service Standards.

The role supports outpatient services, requires graduation from an accredited RN program and Missouri RN licensure, with a 24-hour weekly schedule and shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
