Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in outpatient settings. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and support clinical teams with documentation and safety protocols.

The role emphasizes teamwork with physicians and staff, adherence to policies, and ongoing participation in quality improvement initiatives within MercyOne’s network.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in the state of Iowa and be able to obtain licensure from other states as needed.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, web navigation, email, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings and coordinate care across healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes and document accordingly.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding care plans.
