Job summary

The Outpatient Registered Nurse provides care in a variety of clinics including HBPC, infusion, and primary care within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) at VA facilities. Care is delivered in hospital settings, patients’ homes, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics as assigned.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure, graduation from an approved nursing program, and English proficiency. The role requires adherence to VA standards and may involve pre-employment evaluations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accredited bodies (ACEN/CCNE).
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license in the United States or District of Columbia.
• English language proficiency as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).

Responsibilities

• Provide care in multiple clinics including HBPC, infusion clinics, and Primary Care in a PACT team.
• Adhere to VA qualification standards and prescriptive practices in patient care.
• Participate in required pre-employment evaluation and related assessments.
