Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH, seeks a registered nurse to manage and deliver patient- and family-centered care, and to direct nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.

This is a float position across multiple infusion clinics, including ACC East Weekend Infusion, with weekend work every other week.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio license or permit.
• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred; float position across multiple locations.
• Will work every other weekend at ACC East Weekend Infusion clinic and float to five core infusion clinics in Columbus.

Scope Of Position

Position Summary

The nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. Scope of Position:

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation
• Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• *Experience in relevant care setting preferred. This is a float position and as such, the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations.

This position will be required to work every other weekend at the ACC East Weekend Infusion clinic based out of East Hospital. In addition, this position will require floating to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus and will vary daily based on patient volume and staffing needs.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
