Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient RN - Infusion for weekend float coverage. The role involves managing patient care across ambulatory infusion clinics and supporting the team in busy weekend shifts at East Hospital.

Responsibilities include assessing and coordinating nursing care with a focus on patient experience, safety, and quality outcomes while floating to multiple infusion locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
• This is a float position and the nurse is expected to work at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families and coordinate care within the team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care.
• Float to the five core infusion clinics throughout Columbus as needed.
