Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. You will prepare patients for visits, help streamline patient flow, assist providers with procedures, and manage medications while supporting clinic operations.

The role offers day shifts, a 0.90 FTE, full-time exempt status, and access to EPIC charting. Employment includes robust education, loan forgiveness programs, malpractice insurance, and tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• RN license required in NM or a Compact State.
• Associate degree in nursing.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient needs and responses.
• Coordinates patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Performs assessments per unit standards and documents on data base/flow sheet.
• Initiates, utilizes and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents per policy.
• Performs other functions as required.
