Job summary
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our White Mountain Clinic in Ruidoso, New Mexico. This outpatient role supports preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education, with day shifts and a 0.50 FTE schedule.
The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a State of New Mexico nursing license (or compact license) with BLS certification.
Qualifications
- State NM Nursing License (or compact license) required.
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Support the provider with patient evaluations, rooming, chart prep, and follow‑up care.
- Triage patient calls and MyChart messages, provide guidance using protocols, and coordinate escalations.
- Perform nurse visits including vitals, immunizations, medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease support.
- Conduct phlebotomy, manage specimens, and complete required documentation.
- Maintain exam rooms, manage vaccines, stock supplies, and ensure safety and infection‑control compliance.
- Assist with scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and patient communication.
- Provide patient education on medications and chronic conditions.
