Job summary

Upstate Medical University in Syracuse seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care within the Department of Medicine. Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Float to different divisions within the Department of Medicine.
• Screen patients and maintain patient flow.
• Record accurate patient information and handle telephone interactions.
• Maintain exam rooms and manage inventory.
• Assist in the orientation of new personnel.
