Job summary

SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients, families and the community. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care and supervise LPNs, ancillary staff and students on the unit.

Full-time evening/night shift, 40 hours per week, 8- and 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. NYS RN licensure and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure as outlined by NYS Education Department.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students on the unit.
