Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized care in the outpatient setting using the nursing process. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, educate patients, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, patient education, and executing diverse nursing interventions while adhering to state nursing practice acts and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care, patient assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to plan, implement and evaluate outpatient care.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and standards; follow ANA Code of Ethics and Sanford policies.
