Job summary

Sanford Health, the nation’s largest rural health system, seeks an Outpatient Registered Nurse to deliver individualized care in outpatient settings using the nursing process and working with the health care team.

The position focuses on patient assessment, education, and coordination of care, with collaboration across specialties and adherence to licensure standards. Shifts are 12 hours, Monday through Friday, with minimal Saturday call and one holiday on call per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in theState where practice occurs or multistate licensure if in NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and perform patient assessment.
• Provide patient education and nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter‑professional colleagues to plan and evaluate outpatient care.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable licensure standards.
