Position Summary

To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.

Primary Position Responsibilities

Reporting Relationships

Reports to (position): Nurse Manager and/or Nurse Supervisor

Supervises (position(s): Clinical staff in the absence of Nurse Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Nursing diploma (Required); Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): None (Required)

License, Registry or Certification:

Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing school; current New Jersey RN license; CPR certification or obtain certification within 6 months

Preferred: None

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

Required: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making ability, telephone etiquette, detail-oriented and multitasking skills, ability to handle a high volume of patients
