• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitors and intervenes to ensure patient safety including body mechanics, positioning, pacing, pain management, and use of exercise equipment.
• Manages patient equipment such as IVs, catheters, oxygen apparatus, feeding tubes, hemovacs and drains.
• Operates, cleans, and maintains a variety of therapeutic equipment and materials specific to designated department.
• Reports the patient response to treatment and progression to supervising professional.
• Maintains required forms and documentation support for therapy staff and manager in a timely manner.
