Responsibilities

• Assists patients with therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitors and intervenes to ensure patient safety during therapy.
• Manages patient equipment such as IVs, catheters, oxygen, feeding tubes and drains.
• Operates, cleans and maintains department-specific equipment and materials.
• Reports patient responses and progression discussions to the supervising professional.
• Keeps required forms and documentation up to date for the therapy staff.
• Reports to the assigned Manager or Director.
• Maintains safety practices and handles hazardous risks and equipment as applicable.
