Job summary

Jefferson Radiology in Connecticut is seeking a dedicated scheduling specialist to coordinate patient appointments across multiple offices and modalities, including Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine.

You will respond to referrals, maintain courteous patient contact, and uphold professional representation of the practice. This role offers flexible scheduling in an outpatient setting, with a competitive hourly wage and a robust total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing applications is preferred.
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner.
• Good understanding of ICD coding and medical insurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and effective scheduling of patients for multiple offices and modalities.
• Demonstrate understanding of modalities offered at site location and hours of operations.
• Modalities include Mammography, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine.

Position Summary:

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with scheduling and/or medical billing application preferred
• Excellent dictation, communication skills, and telephone manner
• Good understanding of ICD coding preferred
• Knowledge of medical insurance preferred

The hourly range for this position is$18.00-$24.00 Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications,geographic locationetc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
