West Oaks Outpatient Clinics in Katy, TX is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care under a Clinical Director for adults, adolescents and children with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. The RN will manage the Plan of Care in line with standards, policies, and procedures, with professional development support.

The role includes admission/assessment, intervention, milieu management, and performance improvement within a broad behavioral health program.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Licensure: Current Texas State Registered Nurse licensure; CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Experience: None required; prefer outpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience.

At West Oaks Outpatient Katy Clinic, we provide a broad continuum of outpatient mental health services for adolescents, adults and seniors. Our entire staff has been trained in a treatment model of social learning and positive reinforcement that promotes positive behaviors. Outpatient programs teach life skills and coping mechanisms intended to enrich patients’ lives.

We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.

We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer your questions about treatment options and insurance coverage.

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care under the direction of a Clinical Director for adults, adolescents, children and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Responsible for using the Nursing process to effectively manage the Plan of Care for each patient based on appropriate standards, policies and procedures.
