Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks an Outpatient Dietitian to assess, develop, and coordinate medical nutrition therapy for adults with complex conditions such as diabetes, obesity, CKD, and GI disorders within the Internal Medicine department. You will tailor dietary interventions to individual needs and lead patient education and nutrition programming.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and care teams, mentorship of peers and students, and ongoing development of nutrition care plans

Qualifications

• Education background as BS in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Experience in outpatient clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with diabetes management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional status and develop care plans for adult patients.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling in outpatient setting.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to implement nutrition plans.
• Contribute to nutrition education programming and training of staff and students.
