Sun Recruiting, Inc. is recruiting a Medical Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient radiology department in Syracuse, NY.

This full-time role delivers high-quality patient imaging, with responsibilities across General Radiography, DEXA, and OR C-arm support, ensuring safety and efficiency in a busy outpatient setting. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography, ARRT certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography.
• Current ARRT certification and registration.
• Active licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and perform radiologic imaging under supervision to ensure safety and quality.
• Position patients correctly and use immobilization devices for accurate exams.
• Operate radiology equipment and adjust exposure settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Perform General Radiography, DEXA, and C-arm procedures in the OR as needed.
• Maintain ALARA principles and sterile technique in the OR and radiology suite.
