Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Radiography is required.
• ARRT certification and registration are required.
• Active licensure as required depending on specialty area.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders under supervision and ensure safety and quality of images.
• Position patients correctly and prepare them for radiologic procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment and adjust exposure settings for high-quality images.
• Perform imaging in General Radiography, DEXA, and assist with C-arm imaging in the OR.
• Ensure images meet diagnostic standards and document results.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography

Current ARRT certification and registration

Active licensure as required

Current BLS certification
