Job summary

Theron Solutions is seeking a board-certified pulmonologist to primarily practice outpatient pulmonary medicine in an on-site setting in the United States. The role includes supervising advanced practice providers and maintaining strong ties with local primary care physicians.

The candidate should be an MD or DO with pulmonary credentials, sleep certification preferred, and hold an active state license in GA, AZ, or SC (or be able to obtain via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).

Qualifications

• MD or DO with pulmonary credential; sleep certification preferred.
• Active state license in GA, AZ, or SC (or ability to obtain via IMLC).
• Board-certified pulmonologist

Responsibilities

• Render outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient consults, and procedures.
• See 20 visits/day on average; additional visits compensated.

About this role

Our client is hiring a board certified pulmonologist to primarily practice outpatient pulmonary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Render outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient consults, and procedures
• Perform 20 visits / day on average, additional compensation for additional visits
• Supervise advanced practice providers
• Maintain relationships with local primary care providers

Work Experience

• M.D. or D.O. with pulmonary credential critical (sleep certification preferred) with proven track record of providing care to patients

Soft Skills

• Strong communicator and genuine passion for patient care / diagnosis
• Active state license in Georgia, Arizona, or South Carolina (or ability to obtain via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)

Seniority

• 2 - 20 years of experience as an early-to-mid career, outpatient-focused, and board certified pulmonologist (must accept there is no critical care work)

Work Experience

• Experience or ability to consistently see 20+ patients per day

Soft Skills

• Willing to supervise 2+ mid-level healthcare providers
• Strong mission alignment and excited to integrate tech into patient care models
