Job summary

Select Medical in Plant City & Lakeland, FL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient geriatrics and orthopedics. This PRN role offers weekday coverage with compensation ranging from $30/hr to $35/hr, based on experience. You’ll work under a licensed PT to deliver quality care and support several centers while maintaining strong patient relations.

New grads are welcome to apply. CPR certification is required, and licensure in Florida or in process is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTA.
• Valid Florida PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state practice act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in line with Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff to support client relations.
