Job summary

Rankin Physical Therapy, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our outpatient clinic in Inwood, WV. You will work under a licensed PT to deliver patient-centered care across orthopedic, post-op, neuro, vestibular, and sport-related populations.

This full-time role offers mentorship for new grads, opportunities to lead clinical initiatives, and access to advanced documentation tools like Scribe AI to reduce burden.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the applicable state.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment interventions under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and patient goals.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance training, gait training, and education.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Build strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Raintree EMR.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team while contributing to a positive and engaging clinic culture.
