Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions in New Canaan, CT seeks a Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient department. The role focuses on addressing pain, improving function, and strength-based deficits for adult patients, with emphasis on orthopedic conditions and geriatric rehabilitation.

Candidates should hold a current PTA license or be eligible to practice in Connecticut, have strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• Provide skilled physical therapy care to address pain, functional limitations, and strength based deficits.
• Have adult outpatient experience with a focus on orthopedic conditions and geriatric rehabilitation.
• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
• Work well with others in a team setting.
• Be flexible with hours.
