Job summary

Crmcmed is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Coalinga, California. The PTA will provide skilled physical therapy services and assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

This role requires a graduate of an accredited PTA program, a current California PTA license, and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant License in good standing.
• Previous outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable Medicare and insurance documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the PT.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.

Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy principles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to establish positive relationships

Proficiency with electronic medical records

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
