Job summary

ALTERNATIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY, LTD in Toledo, OH, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists on-site. You will assist with treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, and monitor progress toward functional goals in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, documenting responses, teaching home programs, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a 1-on-1 care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and active or eligible Ohio PTA license.
• Strong documentation of sessions and outcomes with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to follow clinical plan of care and work collaboratively in a team.
• Welcomes learning and adaptation to clinic protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support licensed Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and exercises.
• Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and monitor progress toward goals.
• Prepare treatment areas and document patient responses/outcomes.
• Teach and reinforce home exercise programs for patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and clear communication with patients and families.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
