Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist at Rockwood Clinic in Spokane. The role involves evaluating, planning and implementing hospital-grade treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability. It supports independent practice within a team that serves the community.

The position requires Washington licensure, CPR certification, a driver’s license and at least one year of PT experience, with home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Current Washington state driver's license.
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience.
• Experience with frail or elderly population preferred.
• Experience in Medicare Certified Home Health preferred.
• Successful completion of a physical therapy program approved by the APTA/ACME.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy per the physician's plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, maintain maximum performance.
• Observe, record and report patient reactions and changes in condition.
• Instruct and advise patients, family and health team members in PH therapy phases.
• Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate progress.
