Job summary

The Physical Therapist at MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain, following the physician’s plan of care, with independence in clinical operations.

The role requires graduation from an approved physical therapy program, WA licensure, CPR certification, a valid WA driver’s license, and at least one year of PT experience; experience with frail or elderly populations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved physical therapy program.
• Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Current Washington state driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience.
• Experience with frail or elderly population preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function and maintain maximum performance.
• Observe, record and report the patient’s reaction to treatment and any changes in condition.
• Instruct and advise patients, family and other health team members in the phases of physical therapy.
• Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate
