Qualifications

• Required degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in exercise prescription, manual therapy, functional training and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient condition, history and goals.
• Design individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and functional training.
• Provide ADL retraining and gait training to restore function.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement.
• Develop and implement home exercise programs (HEP) tailored to each patient.
• Recommend and fit necessary therapeutic equipment and accessories.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Stay current with PT advancements and integrate new techniques as appropriate.
