Job summary

Paulseth & Associates Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. You will support licensed PTs in planning and implementing treatment, monitor progress, and educate patients while delivering compassionate care in a collaborative clinic.

Provide follow-up care, document progress in the chart using our systems, and participate in a professional, safety‑driven environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
