Job summary

Paulseth & Associates Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Los Angeles team. You will assist licensed therapists, follow treatment plans, and monitor patient progress in a busy orthopedic setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Patient follow up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
