UnitedHealth Group through Optum Behavioral Care seeks a Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our Wilmington, DE outpatient team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating a diverse population with a broad range of behavioral health conditions, with emphasis on medication management and collaborative care.

The position offers a clinical environment with multidisciplinary collaboration, opportunities to train students, and a strong emphasis on comprehensive, person-centered care within Athena RMS

Qualifikationen

• Clear and active Psychiatrist License (MD/DO) in state of practice.
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in state of practice.
• Obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.

Aufgaben

• Provide psychosocial assessments, individual, family, and group treatment.
• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
• Collaborates as a member of multi-disciplinary integrated team for treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with external providers; opportunities to present in community settings.
• Participate in training graduate students.
• Maintain accurate electronic records (Athena) and clinical documentation.
