Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or eligible psychiatrist to provide outpatient care for adults in a patient-centered, multidisciplinary setting.

You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, manage medications, and participate in treatment planning, with a flexible 36-hour patient-facing schedule and 4 administrative hours weekly. The group offers a robust support system within the Prime Healthcare network and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN).
• Active Illinois medical license or eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong clinical skills in adult outpatient psychiatry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to adults, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Schedule: Flexible schedule with 36 patient-facing hours per week and 4 administrative hours.
