Responsibilities

• Administers medications, observes the seven rights, and orders medications to the pharmacy.
• Performs venipuncture for lab requests and communicates abnormal results to the physician.
• Provides individual, family and group education about psychiatric illness and medication usage.
• Maintains accurate documentation (MARS, vital signs, medication lists) and reports findings promptly.
