Job summary

AltaPointe Health’s Adult Outpatient Programs seek an experienced nurse (LPN/RN) to support clinical interventions and medication management. The role focuses on assessments, administration of medications, and education for consumers and families.

The nurse will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and provide care in a supportive outpatient setting in Alabama.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license valid in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessments as indicated by AltaPointe policy.
• Administers medications observing the seven rights of medication administration.
• Performs venipuncture for lab requests and drug screens; monitors lab results.
• Provides patient and family education regarding psychiatric illness and medications.
• Documents and reconciles MARS and other records as required.
