Job summary

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Program/Intake Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the outpatient setting. The role includes intake assessments and managing referrals, with leadership responsibilities at the unit level and a focus on both mental and physical health needs.

• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferrably an Outpatient PHP or IOP facility.
• Must have or able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

The Outpatient Program/Intake Nurse assumes primary responsibility for the assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients within the Outpatient facility. They are responsible for Intake assessments and managing referral sources. This RN assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level and demonstrates a mastery of clinical skills related to patient’s mental health and physical health needs.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current license to practicenursing in Arizona or compact privileges.
