Job summary

MyCare Medical in Florida is seeking a full-time, Board-certified physician to join our outpatient-focused practice in Pembroke Pines. The role emphasizes value-based care, continuity of care, and high-quality services at lower costs to patients.

Responsibilities include a Monday–Friday schedule, on-call rotations, and caring for a Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities. Board certification (or eligibility) and active licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO degree and current license.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Unrestricted medical license and DEA licensure in the state of practice or ability to obtain before employment.
• Up-to-date CPR and Basic Life Support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule.
• Average daily volume is 15 patients per day.
• Use eClinical Works and partnering programs for patient care.
• Focus on continuity of care, health maintenance and disease prevention for a Medicare Advantage population.
• Integrated team-based care to improve patient outcomes.
• Prioritize preventive care and proactive management of chronic conditions.

MyCare Medical is actively seeking a full-time, Board-certified physician to join our team in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We are a medical practice family specializing in value-based care, and delivering the highest quality care to our patients at the lowest costs available to them. Our company is physician-founded, and dyad-led. We’ve created a structural support system to ensure that our providers can focus solely on patient care.

Responsibilities: About this Opportunity:

• Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule.
• Average daily volume is 15 patients per day
• We use eClinical Works, along with partnering programs to ensure ease of use for our patients and practices.
• We focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention, working alongside patients and their families to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage a Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities.
• Integrated team-based care: Working as a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes by meeting their needs and preferences.
• Prioritizing preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions to improve patient outcomes, decrease patient’s costs, and increase revenue for the practice.
• Providers must be comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population.
• Graduated from an accredited MD or DO accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Unrestricted Medical License and DEA Licensure in the state of practice or the ability to obtain a license prior to employment
• Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in a Value-Based Care model
• Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – specifically ECW
• Knowledge of Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding
• Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations.

Preferred Skills:

Pay range and compensation package: $270,000 - $280000 with additional benefits.
