Job summary

Aptive is seeking a Primary Care (Outpatient) Registered Nurse for the Miami VA Medical Center at 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, FL 33125. The RN will deliver patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting, emphasizing wellness, disease management, and care coordination for Veterans.

Ideal candidates have a current RN license, BLS, at least four years nursing experience including inpatient care coordination and outpatient practice; ASN acceptable, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license from any US state.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• 4+ years of nursing, including 2+ years inpatient care coordination and 2+ years outpatient.
• ASN accepted; BSN preferred; ACEN/CCNE-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and coordinate care in outpatient clinics.
• Administer medications and monitor patients, including IV therapy as needed.
• Scrub appointments and support the care team in a busy clinic.
• Document care in EMR and ensure accurate records.
