CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Physician for the Baton Rouge outpatient clinic, focusing on preventive and comprehensive care for seniors. You will manage patient records, coordinate with specialists, and contribute to department strategy with a high degree of autonomy.

The role emphasizes outpatient medicine, health maintenance, and disease prevention, with involvement in TB screening programs and limited on‑call duties. 40 hours per week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice in the state.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
• Experience with TB screening programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care with emphasis on continuity of care and disease prevention.
• Maintain comprehensive medical histories and records.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed and influence departmental strategy.
• Make decisions on moderately complex medical issues with some latitude.
• Participate in limited on‑call coverage by phone.
