Job summary

ProHealth Physicians is seeking a Physician - Outpatient Primary Care to join our Groton, CT team. As part of Optum, you’ll have the resources of a national health system behind you to support patient-centered care.

We offer a three-year compensation guarantee plus supplemental income opportunities, with a full-time schedule across 4.5 days per week. Optional on-call with no evenings or weekends, collaborative care teams, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of Connecticut or ability to obtain prior to start.
• BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Active, unrestricted CSR and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care in a patient-centered, physician-led environment.
• Collaborate with care teams and Advanced Practice Clinicians.
• Educate patients to take ownership of their health.

Education

BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Unrestricted Connecticut licensure or ability to obtain prior to start

Active, unrestricted CSR and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start
