Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an MD or DO to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adolescents to older adults, including preventive care and chronic disease management, in a supportive team-based environment.

You will order tests, interpret results, prescribe medications, educate patients, and collaborate with specialists while maintaining EMR documentation. A Virginia license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Completed US residency in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Current Virginia medical license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care across the age spectrum.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as indicated.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies in line with policies.
• Coordinate care with specialists and care management teams.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation (EPIC preferred).
