Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Resident RN (RN I–III) for the Outpatient Surgery Pre-Op unit. This full-time role supports surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient care for patients from pre-op through discharge.

Shift is 4:45am-3:15pm. Eligible RN levels receive education-aligned responsibilities, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, student loan repayment up to $25,000, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience: RN I 0–3 years; RN II 3–5 years; RN III 5+ years in patient care.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in Oklahoma and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns behaviors with OU Health values and maintains nursing professional standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and changes in orders.
• Assists physicians in examination and minor procedures.
• Monitors and responds to physiological data and patient needs.
