Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT is seeking an Outpatient Polysomnographic Technician/Technologist for the Sleep Laboratory Clinic on a full-time basis. You will perform sleep testing, data collection, and interventions under supervision to support accurate studies including MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration.

The role requires completion of A-STEP and RPSGT certification within two years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of A-STEP program and RPSGT certification within two years.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis and associated interventions under supervision of a sleep technologist or medical director.
• Follow sleep lab procedures for MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration to ensure accurate data collection.
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
• Adhere to licensing board/agency requirements and Benefis Health System policies.
• Interact professionally with patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Follow sleep lab procedural protocols related to sleep study (such as Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), parasomnia studies, PAP and oxygen titration) to ensure collection of appropriate data. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
