Job summary

Nooksack Tribe is seeking a licensed Physician (MD) to provide outpatient medical services within the tribal health program in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while maintaining an appropriate daily caseload and following HIPAA and tribal policies.

The role emphasizes cultural humility, strong documentation, and ongoing professional development within a supportive work setting.

Qualifications

• MD degree required and licensed to practice medicine in Washington.
• Completion of an accredited residency.
• 3–5 years of outpatient physician experience.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services in outpatient clinic within license scope.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and prevention.
• Coordinate admissions to outside facilities when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for legal purposes.
• Adhere to HIPAA and federal policy requirements.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
