Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Outpatient Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position is located at our Baptist South Clinic, with a schedule of weekdays and no weekend requirements.

In this role, you will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, participate in departmental operations, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.

Qualified candidates must have an associate degree in Physical Therapy and appropriate licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Required to be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under a licensed therapist's direction.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement.
• Remain within budget guidelines.

Education

Associate degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Assistant

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from the Florida Department of Health

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
