The CORE Institute is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for our Prescott Valley Clinic. The PTA will execute the plan of care under state guidelines, maintain patient records, and collaborate as a primary team member with therapists and staff.

Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in PTA and active PTA certification, plus at least one year of outpatient experience. Knowledge of OSHA and infection control is essential, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA and state certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience in outpatient PT.
• Current state PTA certification.
• Knowledge of PT principles, equipment, OSHA and infection control.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, staff, and other departments.
• Executes plan of care per state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Responds to patient questions to resolve problems and maintain high standards.
• Documents care for the medical record per state practice act.
• Fully integrated as the primary member of the treatment team for each case.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and assists with training PT Technicians.
