Job summary

The CORE Institute in Prescott Valley seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient clinic and help implement the plan of care in collaboration with the rehabilitation team.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate’s Degree in PTA and PTA certification, with at least one year of outpatient experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program and PTA certification in the practicing state.
• Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting or equivalent.
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices.
• Ability to document patient care and use the computer system for medical records.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, staff, and departments.
• Executes plan of care in accordance with state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Documents care and patient information for medical records per state regulations.
• Act as primary treatment team member for each case in caseload.
• Assists with training Physical Therapy Technicians.
