Job summary

The CORE Institute in Prescott Valley is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient team and deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care. You will work closely with physicians and therapists, implement the plan of care, document progress, and support patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and current PTA license, with at least one year of outpatient experience and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and PTA certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in outpatient Physical Therapy clinic or equivalent.
• Current state PTA certification.
• Knowledge of PT principles, equipment, OSHA, and infection control regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and providers and to work in a team.
• Ability to engage with patients of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, and departments.
• Executes plan of care per state board recommendations and guidelines.
• Documents care and patient information for the medical record.
• Actively integrated as a primary team member for each caseload.
• Trains Physical Therapy Technicians as needed.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with OSHA standards.
