Job summary

Citizens Health is seeking a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Rehab department in Colby, KS. This full-time outpatient role supports the Physical Therapist in delivering treatments, assessing progress and updating plans of care in collaboration with the care team.

You must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with Kansas licensure and CPR certification, and you will participate in quality improvement and ongoing education to ensure compassionate, effective care for our

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program and eligible for Kansas licensure.
• Current CPR certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments to patients according to the plan of care.
• Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Document patient conditions and responses to treatment accurately.
• Communicate patient progress with physicians and staff as needed.
• Maintain equipment and participate in quality improvement processes.
