Job summary

ORA Orthopedics seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver PT services under supervision, implementing care plans and educating patients on exercises and injury management.

The ideal candidate is PTA-certified with Iowa license, outpatient ortho experience preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. Aquatic therapy interest is a plus; you will contribute to coordinated patient care in a comprehensive orthopedic practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in Iowa (unencumbered).
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; aquatic therapy interest a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under licensed PT supervision.
• Follow care plans and educate patients on exercises and injury management.
• Monitor patient progress and document notes and discharge summaries accurately.
• Collaborate with clinic team to ensure high-quality patient care.
